The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Al-Muthanna held the defence of the master's thesis of student Islam Abd Thabit, entitled "Evaluation of the Antidiabetic Effects of Camel Milk in Experimental Rat Models".

The thesis aimed to study the effect of camel milk in lowering blood glucose levels in rats with induced diabetes and to evaluate its effect on biochemical markers such as insulin, insulin resistance, oxidative-stress levels, and liver and kidney function,and to examine histological changes in pancreatic, liver and kidney tissues after treating diabetic animals with camel milk.
