About the College
The College of Education for Pure Sciences opened in the 2014–2015 academic year after the College of Education at the University of Al-Muthanna was divided into the College of Education for Humanities and the College of Education for Pure Sciences, the latter comprising two departments: Biology and Mathematics. This was the first step towards establishing a fully fledged College of Education for Pure Sciences. The college has ambitious plans to adopt the best modern teaching methods, establish distinguished research centres, and build cooperation and knowledge exchange with counterpart colleges in Iraq and neighbouring countries.
Study at the college lasts four calendar years, during which students are prepared theoretically and practically according to structured plans comprising specialized and supporting courses throughout the years of study. Through these, we seek to develop students' intellectual abilities and skills, enhancing the quality of their specialized knowledge.
