Trusting in God, the Department of Biology was opened in conjunction with the establishment of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, which aims to supply the governorate with teaching staff able to raise the banner of knowledge in our society, equipped with the latest sciences, modern curricula and sound educational principles, led by competent faculty holding higher degrees. The department works as one family made up of the students, who are the cornerstone of the educational process, the faculty and the curriculum. It provides modern laboratory supplies so that students can combine theoretical knowledge with practical work, equipping the laboratories with modern furniture, laboratory instruments and chemicals so that students can become acquainted with modern experiments and the use of various types of microscopes. We believe that graduates should be well prepared and able to lead the educational process when they enter the workplace and embark on a successful career.
Our greatest hope is that God Almighty grants us success in our work and lets us see its fruits in our dear students, in the service of our society and our great country.
