The Department of Biology aspires to international recognition in scientific research and teaching through academic quality, and to local recognition for supplying the labour market with highly competent scientific staff.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Second: Programme Mission<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Raising the competence of biologists and of the life sciences in society and supporting the various scientific disciplines with high-calibre graduates who contribute effectively to scientific progress, and developing ways to build biologists qualified to the highest level in teaching and training who help raise biological thinking among learners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Third: Programme Objectives<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

  1. Graduating students able to teach at intermediate and preparatory schools.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Graduating students well versed in the fundamental concepts of biology.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Graduating students familiar with educational methods for dealing with adolescents. <\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Graduating an elite group of students able to pursue postgraduate studies to support higher education in the future.<\/strong>Prof.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
